The quote above is from the book Cold Tangerines by Shauna Niequist. I haven't read the book, but I stumbled upon the photo above on Tumblr. I can pretty much say that I love the last line as much as I love chocolates. It's such a nice, new way of saying that she wants to be friends with life and enjoy it.
Since the new year has just started, I decided that the overall theme of my 2013 and all the goals that I'll be aiming to achieve this year is going to be: "Treating life as my favorite sweater." I've been pretty much enemies with life for the past couple of years. I can admit that now, and at the same time, I can also say that I am now in a place where I want to rise above whatever kind of semi-depression I've been under. That is all. I'm going to stop writing now before I start getting way too cheesy. :p
